On April 23, 2014, veteran Toronto lyricist, Dan-e-o became a father. His fifth solo album, “The Day It All Changed” doubles as a soulful ode to his wonderful daughter, Melina and his most mature, polished presentation of lyricism to date. The LP features guest appearances from Wordsworth, Pearl Gates, Choclair, Ro Dolla, Grimace Love and up-and-coming R&B sensation, Xentury. It was released on October 4, 2019 on URBNET.
“The Day It All Changed (Lockdown Remixes)” revisits the monumental album with no less than 20 remixes from seven different producers. Pro-Logic (Kitchener, Ontario), S-KY THE COOKINJAX (Shizuoka, Japan), Mr. Erbie (Toronto, Ontario), DJ Tictactic (Peterborough, Ontario), Jon Corbin (Milton, Ontario) and Big Sproxx (Toronto, Ontario) contribute neck-snapping remixes. As well, legendary Brooklyn lyricist, Wordsworth returns with brand new verses for three of the original Charisma a.k.a. Skizzz-produced tracks from the album.
